I am a Fluenz Italian student but at present I am going to an Italian conversation class in the city where I live. Sometimes we are learning a verb or some other grammar in class and I want to review only that subject from FLUENZ. How can I look up just one topic without having to go through all the FLUENZ sessions to find it?

Along with using my FLUENZ Italian daily, I attend a mostly conversational Italian class 1x/week. My teacher said tavolo is used for a table that is not used for eating (i.e. A study table) and that tavola is used for the table where we gather to eat. This seems inconsistent with FLUENZ Italian 3. Any responses?

My understanding is that tavola used used for a table that is actually laid out with food, while tavolo is used for the table itself, whether or not it is a dining table.

Thanks Gordy, that is consistent with my conversation class. I wonder how come Fluenz does not distinguish between the two?
