But Andy, understand this: Fluenz Mandarin 1+2 & 3 is the work of a genius, but it is clearly an unfinished product. Those who have completed the entire thing have been left at the doorstep of Lower Intermediate Level. I have compared almost every Mandarin course out there from some of the biggest companies and none have the level of sophistication that Fluenz Mandarin has. I have even purchased and then thrown into the trash can these other Mandarin courses because they clearly are lacking in every way possible. The ONLY shortcoming with Fluenz Mandarin is the lack of Levels 4 and 5. For a company as huge as Fluenz to have created THE ABSOLUTE BEST Mandarin language course out there and to then stop short of the finish line is similar to producing the greatest bottle of red wine and then after opening the bottle and letting us get a sniff of the wine, not having enough glasses to pour the wine into. It is a tragedy. Surely a company as big as yours can assemble a team and give us levels 4 and 5. We are willing to pay for it.

Numbers article: Awesome! I didn't feel that there was enough numbers or letters practice in the lessons. Blog Page: Amazing! I didn't know this existed!

When you want to say the reason you are doing something, you'll use 'para'. The easiest trick is that if you can replace the 'to' in English with 'in order to' then use para. So for example, 'Estoy aquí para hablar con españoles'—'I'm here (in order) to speak with Spanish people'. But "por" can be translated as "because of". So you say "por trabajo" = "because of work" and "para trabajar" = "in order to work/for working". We can say that we'd use "por" when we want to talk about the reason why we do something and "para" when we refer to the purpose. - "Vine a los Estados Unidos por trabajo = (I) came to the United States for work/because of (my) work": the stress is on the fact that work is the reason why I came to the United States. - "Vine a los Estados Unidos para trabajar" = (I) came to the United States (in order) to work": the stress is on the purpose of the trip.

Our servers at Amazon S3 are down which is causing all kinds of issues for Fluenz. They're working to get everything back up. Apologies for the downtime. http://linkis.com/techcrunch.com/2017/s9JiD
